Argentine Tango Activities

Saturday 1-2 p.m.
Except on the 24th, take the 8:30pm class at La Milonga de los Mendoza!
Serious Technique Class
Most Argentine Tango classes focus on teaching steps or patterns. This class is different. Decades of experience have taught us how to see your core challenge. We may teach a pattern, but the focus will be on your frame, your posture, or even your attitude - whatever you need to be a better partner.

Try this new approach to learning Tango. You'll find it more heartfelt than memorizing steps, and it will make you a far better dancer.

10-class card $120 (save $30)
Drop-in $15
All levels welcomed

Argentine Tango Soirées

What are Tango Soirées?

Tango Soirées are a combination of semi-private lesson, personal coaching, practice and party at our home dance studio. We start with a lessons that lasts for about an hour. Then, we take a break to sip, snack and socialize. Afterwards, we finish the lesson and close out the night with a guided practice.

Who can attend?

Attendance is by invitation only and is limited to a maximum 4 couples (or singles paired for the evening); 3 couples are required to schedule a Soirée.

What to expect?

Couples should expect to dance primarily with each other, though attendees are welcome to switch, if the other couples agree. We do our best to pair up singles according to skill level and size. However we always appreciate your help in finding the right partner. If you are a single, please suggest someone you like to dance with and we’ll send out the invitation.

What is taught?

While we are prepared to teach new material, we devote much of the time to personal attention and practice. Feel free to request technique or steps you want to work on. Dancers are invited to hang out and practice afterwards.

What is the schedule and cost?
